A peer on your marketing team has repeatedly launched campaigns or published content with minimal QA and vague briefs. This has led to inconsistent brand voice, wasted ad spend, missed conversion targets, and extra rework for the team. The colleague is well-liked but sensitive to criticism.
In a short video, role-play a 1:1 conversation where you bring this up. Balance empathy with directness: cite specific examples (campaign names, dates, channel, or creative) and explain the impact on KPIs, team workload, or brand. Invite the colleague’s perspective, listen, and co-create an actionable improvement plan (e.g., brief templates, pre-launch QA checklist, approval steps, timelines, measurement expectations). Show how you will follow up and offer support.
